Another way to get rarer skill books

I agree with this and voted for it, but I'm too cynical to think it will ever happen. I am of the opinion all books for all mercs (including event mercs) should be available somehow in game, whether through a quest or craftable, but the reality is that by making them unavailable, Nexon forces you to use Atlas Ore to upgrade your mercs. It's basically a marketing ploy, like a company giving away something fantastic for free, but you have to buy a monthly subscription or purchase an expensive accessory to use it. Since the game is "free to play," there is no monthly subscription option, but they can try to force you into buying from the item mall. Even level III books in-game are almost prohibitively expensive for Class A or IM mercs. For example, to up my Champion's Athena's Protection from 40 to 60 would cost 400 Atlas. Even at the bargain price of 70m each, that would cost 28 bil. Level III books for the Taoist regularly sell for 250-450 mil each. Level I books for Bard are simply not available in IM or through craft; the only way to upgrade is using Atlas Ore if you didn't do it during event. Cellphone companies, cable companies, retail stores--basically anyone who sells anything--learned decades ago about the "loss leader": something free or deeply discounted to coerce you to buy something else along the way. That's the same reason pop-ups have actually increased over the past few years. In-game advertising to make you want what another player just got, like a slot machine jackpot alarm going off.

I agree with you but my goal is to try to get a chance for some people, I know is really expensive and I thank you for the exact costs because atlas ore is an item which is becoming more expensive and Im on of the many who cant afford for them at the moment (specially knowing how are the marketing movements 'sweat), in my last post on nexon forum I wrote I'd agree if they say no to the idea and that's the reason that I would like to try more time collecting votes while I'm ignoring the "market rules" or whatever they call it in game.

Ok but seriously, after the next one, new batch of player will ask for "another last chance"...
that I think says it all. There is no reason for anyone to have another chance at an event. New players get enough stuff for free to help them level and w/ all the plvling going on in West Atlantis, there is no reason you can't afford what you need by tbsing by 120. this maybe a free to play game but that doesn't mean you should be getting everything for free. When nexon took over ndoors we got the same events basically when we migrated as they gave when the Latin players were forced to move, that eveny was not extended for players migrating after the transfer. I see no reason why this should be any different. IF nexon agrees w/ this and extends any event due to this type of laziness ( and yes it's being lazy when you're plvled from 1-120 and still want to do nothing) then this game has gone in a direction that I think most ppl would rather not see.

Hmm thats a good point, surely I dont have another thing to say and also I get annoyed when some ppl ask for help in West A. or just say "please give me items, Im low lvl" leaving aside laziness, Nexon should then give us another option instead of spending money on atlas ore, or getting those books randomly in boxes ; probably find skill books (Patriot, Necro, Rin, Sadko..) in reward boxes , like in Dragon Trial, would be a better option, at the moment I have ancient book of growth x 70 which was an item hard to get before. Please continue giving your ideas, I'd appreciate if you do =)
